Meditative Vocal Exploration

For singers who want to explore vocalizing in a very relaxed state. Some vocalists find it easier to explore vocally when they turn inward and receive metaphorical prompts.

Better suited to students who have previously taken a few lessons or have more experience singing.

Voice Lessons
& Performance Coaching

For vocalists who want to gain more awareness of their vocal anatomy, refine their technique, learn about authentic stage presence, mic technique, performance anxiety management, and increase the emotional landscape of their performance. Or for vocalists who just want to bring the fun and play back into their practice!

Meet Your Instructor

IMG_8640_edited.jpg

My name is Sara Rose (they/them), and I am a queer, neurodivergent singer-songwriter, voice teacher, sound/energy worker, and community organizer. I am ever-passionate about singing, songwriting, performance, and holding space for emotions. Supporting singers in uncovering the voice they've always wanted is such a special privilege, and I hold precious the courage it takes to trust someone with such a vulnerable thing.

I have been performing and writing professionally for about 18 years. My educational background is in psychology, with some music education, followed by studies in music therapy at the master's level. I've also studied contemporary voice teaching through Berklee College, and completed Estill Voice Training (Levels 1 & 2). I have performed hundreds of solo concerts, booked a few small tours, and played in a few bands. Additionally, I am an avid community-builder, clown, and life-long learner, and I strongly value creativity and self-expression.

As a neurodivergent, queer, nonbinary teacher and energy worker, I strive to provide accessible services, limiting barriers to the expressiveness and play that comes to me through musical exploration.

I believe that anyone who thinks they have a "bad voice" just hasn't learned how to use it yet! That said, I look forward to supporting you with your musical and emotional journey :)
